Detailed Features
Ultra low light performance in colour
The ME20F-SH incorporates a newly developed, full-frame 35mm CMOS sensor with approx. 2.26MP for maximum light gathering ability. With an ISO of over 4 million (+75dB) the camera can capture ‘never before seen’ colour footage in almost complete darkness (0.0005 lux), plus additional support for infrared (IR) filming.
High quality, Full HD output
This unique camera can produce a Full HD 1080p/1080i/720p output that can be recorded to an external recorder. It offers support for high dynamic range with 12-stop Canon Log Gamma and Wide DR mode, plus reduced motion blur with support for frame rates up to 50p/59.94p for shooting slow-motion.
Flexible, creative control
With extensive options for automatic functions for exposure via Iris and gain control, One-Shot AF and Auto WB the ME20F-SH gives control over your shooting settings. Choose from Custom Picture settings, including Canon Log and Wide DR. The wide ISO 800 to 4 million range lets filmmakers shoot from daylight to ‘starlight‘ conditions.
Remote control over built-in ND and IR filters
Remote operation of the built-in, electronically controlled ND filters (3-stop and 6-stop) and IR cut filter is possible via the Canon Remote Controller RC-V100.
Extensive lens compatibility
Featuring an EF mount with Cinema Lock the ME20F-SH will support a wide selection of compatible lenses across the Canon range, including zooms, primes and selected Canon Servo lenses* (with a 12-pin interface) for greater control and creative shooting opportunities.
Compact and connectable
The small, compact and lightweight ME20F-SH features extensive connection options for a monitor, output to an external recorder and remote control, including HDMI out, Genlock and two 3G/HD-SDI terminals. Remote control is possible via two sockets, including a 2.5mm jack for the Canon Remote Controller RC-V100.* A list of compatible lenses to be confirmed.
