Its ±8mm shift capability allows photographers to correct converging vertical lines directly in-camera, while the ±10° tilt adjustment enables manipulation of the focus plane for expanded depth-of-field control or creative miniature-style effects. The lens provides a broad 104° angle of view while Laowa's Zero-D optical design minimizes distortion at the source, producing clean, natural geometry across the frame.
The optical system incorporates 18 elements in 12 groups, including extra-low dispersion, ultrahigh refraction, and aspherical elements to maintain sharpness and clarity across wide compositions. A 14-blade iris renders smooth out-of-focus areas, while the manual focus design allows precise control down to a close focusing distance of 9.8". Designed for professional workflows, the lens includes a built-in 360° rotating tripod support with an integrated Arca-type plate and sports a standard 86mm front filter thread.
