Nagasoft Caster-X2 Streaming Mixer Tablet

The Nagasoft Caster X2 is an 8-channel live production tablet that can be easily integrated into all production workflows. Equipped with a 13.3-inch full HD touchscreen, the Caster X2 supports up to 4-channel HDMI 2.0 input. It provides input and access to many popular signal formats, as well as interactive access to Live+ cell phones and other devices.

Video inputs and streaming
The Caster X2 can use 8 channels for live production, plus up to 4 HDMI channels, as well as access to many popular IP formats and connect live and mobile devices (such as remote cameras). In a multi-cam production, a variety of professional transitions and effects can be applied with the Caster.
At the same time, the device is equipped with a PGM output channel (up to 4kp60) and an HDMI output channel.

Professional audio processing
Nagasoft Caster X2 has XLR/TRS combo connectors and supports balanced and unbalanced connections simultaneously, which is helpful for connecting various external mixers.

Simple and intuitive user interface
Nagasoft Caster X2 has a clear UI design for easy handling.
The redesigned user interface allows users to efficiently use the Caster X2 even with minimal familiarization with the product. The logical and functional arrangement of buttons and icons not only makes the user interface clearer and more appealing, but also provides a better overview of all functions and their status.
The 13.3-inch full HD touchscreen greatly improves usability and meets the needs of beginners and professionals to get started quickly with little learning effort.

4K Support
Creating 4K projects has never been easier. The Caster X2 supports either 4 x 4kp30 or a maximum of 2 x 4kp60 HDMI input signals simultaneously. With the X2's powerful program composition features, users can create even more engaging live programs.

5G Network Support
The Caster X2 features an integrated 5G SIM card slot. It supports 5G NSA / SA and is backward compatible with most 4G networks. Mobile networks can be used for live streaming when wired broadband is not available, such as outdoors or in changing venues.

NDI | HX (optional)
Nagasoft's Caster X2 supports the NDI | HX protocol commonly used in current productions. Once enabled, it can be used to set up very efficient IP video workflows. In addition to audio and video, TALLY and PTZ camera control protocols are also supported with the NDI | HX protocol.

Real-time chroma keying
The Caster X2 supports real-time chroma key channel function. It uses efficient real-time chroma key GPU acceleration for bluescreen or greenscreen with just one button press, and supports dynamic adjustment of parameters such as threshold and blur. It also provides a mode for background placement of frames or a channel signal.

Picture-in-Picture Templates
The NSCaster X2 series supports simultaneous display of the main image and several other windows on the same PGM screen. There are a variety of different layouts for image segmentation and support for custom image size and layout setting. Users can quickly switch the main stream and the additional streams, saving time during post-processing. This is an ideal choice for training, meetings, online programs and other production applications.

Live sports scoreboard
The Caster X2 Series has a built-in live sports scoreboard function with a variety of templates to choose from to display the score in real time.
Templates are available for displaying basketball, soccer, table tennis, badminton, volleyball and other sporting events. The templates provide a more professional presentation of live sports coverage, easier program creation and a more enjoyable viewing experience.

Audio Mixer
The Caster X2 features an integrated software-based mixer and supports multi-channel mixing effects. The volume of each input and the overall output can be controlled accordingly.

Transition effects
You can use a variety of transition effects for channel switching, and the transition time can be easily adjusted.

CG Overlay
The CG panel of Nagasoft Caster X2 can display images on the PGM channel. It has a large number of images built in, but also supports the import of external PNG/JPG image formats. The position and size of the images can be adjusted in up to 20 places. It is possible to publish images to a PC on the X2 or remotely using the CG Editor software, making your production more appealing and comprehensive.

Recording
The X2 supports recording of all input channels and the program stream in H.264/H.265 with a maximum of 4kp120 on an internal 500GB SSD. The recording format and parameters can be customized. In case of accidental power failure, files can be recovered using software tools. External media can be connected via the USB port to import or export videos. In addition, ftp (file transfer protocol) allows the transfer of stored videos to external servers.

Multi-platform live streaming
With just one click, the program stream can be directly streamed to various platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo as well as RTMP or SRT compatible servers without the need for a PC. Depending on the available bandwidth, multiple streams can be transmitted simultaneously.

Live+
The Caster X2 is equipped with the Live + connection system. Using the Naga NDDIP protocol, front-end devices such as smartphones and encoders do not require wired connections. Simply scan the included QR code from the X2 or enter the 6-digit code to instantly establish a video and audio connection between the front-end device and the X2 system and join the live streaming program, making live production much easier and faster.

PTZ Camera Control
The Caster X2 has an integrated PTZ control interface and supports a variety of popular PTZ control protocols (Visca over IP, Onvif, optional NDI|HX). This allows PTZ cameras to be remotely controlled via touch. Supports zoom, focus and iris control, movement in eight directions, and stored angles of view.
