Samyang 14mm T3.1 ED AS IF UMC VDSLR II Lens for SONY E is a full frame compatible, manual focus only prime lens suitable for Sony E mount cameras and camcorders. Super wide-angle lens for Full-Frame and APS-C sensor sized cameras. The VDSLR II version of the popular 14mm lens has been specifically designed for Video / Cine purposes and features revised placement of the focus and aperture gearing, so all newest lenses have the gearing in the same place for convenience on rigs and professional follow focus systems. The aperture is decoupled (de-clicked) providing ultra smooth and quiet control together with a geared focus ring (for follow-focus module attachment). Construction features 14 elements and 12 optical groups and comes with two ED lenses and two aspherical elements (hybrid and standard). Performance is enhanced by the addition of high quality anti-reflective UMC (Ultra coated layers) layers.
