SmallRig Matte Box Kit With CPL&VND Filters 5011

Prevent lens flares and avoid glare in your footage with this 95mm Matte Box Kit with CPL/VND Filter Set from SmallRig. The matte box has a 95mm opening, making it compatible with 95mm lens diameters, and includes four threaded adapter rings to accommodate lenses of smaller measurements.

Also included are two scratch-resistant glass CPL filters, a standard 4 x 5.65" filter frame, a 4 x 5.65" filter frame for round CPL/VND filters, a lens hood, and a carbon fiber top flag to further adjust for bright sunlight or fill lights. The filters are magnetic and quickly installed within the filter frame. The two included CPL filters can create a VND effect when used together with the gearing in the hood.

Circular Polarizer/VND Filter Effects
The two CPL filters (CPL1 and CPL2) create a dynamic VND (variable neutral density) filter that allows you to rotate and adjust the density on the fly, reducing light intake by two to five stops. Each circular polarizer helps eliminate reflections from water, glass, or reflective still objects while enhancing contrast.
A separately available CPL3 filter can be combined with CPL1 to reduce light intake from six to nine stops.
