Advanced expression and work for filmmaking

Focus drift is effectively reduced for smooth video recording, and linear response MF allows manual focusing for the best sharpness and resolution. Focus shifting and zoom effects can be used with the F2 depth of field to create a natural transition that leads the viewer around. Focusing is critical for high-speed shooting at 4K 120p / FHD 240p4simple, and the entire system operates with minimal noise and vibration.

Professional control and reliability

Control is enhanced by an aperture ring with on/off and click lock switches, three assignable focus hold buttons, and a DMF switch that allows you to temporarily switch to manual focus while using autofocus. While it's a fairly large lens, there's plenty of room to hold your camera. The detachable tripod mount has 1/4" and 3/8" screw holes, and the dust/moisture resistant construction means you can always count on it.
