The Composer Pro-XL MDX-2600 V2 from Behringer is a 2-channel expander, gate, compressor, peak limiter, and de-esser for processing mono and stereo signals. Use the gate to filter out unwanted noise, the expander to increase the dynamic range of the signal, or the compressor/limiter to decrease the dynamic range and smooth out any loud signal peaks. Deploy the de-esser to remove overly prominent S sounds from vocals. Add signal enrichment with the dynamic enhancer and tube simulator. The MDX-2600V2 is housed in a single-space rack-mountable chassis and is applicable for live performances, and recording, mixing, and mastering sessions.
