Designed to deliver high performance, adventure-proof storage for limitless creativity, the 4TB Rugged SSD4 USB4 External SSD from LaCie connects to your host system using a 40 Gb/s USB-C interface that uses the USB4 standard to deliver read speeds of up to 4000 MB/s, making it ideal for ProRes 4K video recording at 120 fps, rapid file transfers, and working while on the go. Built with a storage capacity of 4TB, the Rugged SSD4 also features IP54 protection against water, dust, drops, up to 9.8' of shock resistance, and up to 1 ton of pressure resistance.
While this SSD is compatible with USB4, it may also be used with 80 Gb/s Thunderbolt 5, 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 4, 20 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 (3.1 Gen 2/3.1), and 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1/3.0). It operates using bus power and supports Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Chrome, Android, and gaming console operating systems. Included is a USB4 cable and Rescue Data Recovery Services. Also included is a two-month membership to Adobe Creative Cloud Pro, which must be redeemed within one year of drive registration.
