Tilta Camera Cage for Canon R7 Pro Kit - Black

The Pro kit includes the full camera cage for the R7, a compact NATO top handle, a NATO rail attachment with a 1/4"-20 anti-twist screw, a modular 15mm LWS baseplate, two 8" 15mm rods, an HDMI/USB-C cable clamp, and an EF-R mount adapter support.

The cage provides all-around protection, an integrated Arca-type base, a NATO side rail, a shoe mount, and multiple 1/4"-20 threads, plus 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod threads on the bottom. The NATO rail attachment mounts onto the top of the camera, allowing the top handle to clamp on top for easy mounting and unmounting. The cage mounts onto the 15mm LWS baseplate, which includes two rods and features a removable Arca-type receiver.

This compact quick release top handle is smaller than the standard Tiltaing quick release handle and well suited for use with smaller cameras or when a smaller shooting package is desired. There is one shoe mount on top and multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threads, each featuring anti-twist divots.

Tilta Threaded 15mm Rod (Black, 8", Single)

Tilta's 8" Threaded 15mm Rod is a 8" rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.

The rod is made from machined aluminum for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodized black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.
