  • Voigtlander Nokton D35mm F1.2 for the Nikon Z-mount

The NOKTON D35mm F1.2 is a large-diameter standard lens that covers an APS-C size image circle mirrorless cameras with the Nikon Z mount. The lens configuration uses a traditional double gauss type. A large aperture of F1.2 is achieved in the style of "8-element" formula in which all elements arranged almost symmetrically around the aperture position are composed of spherical surfaces. This yields a beautiful bokeh effect in the images it makes when aperture is all the way open.

Designed exclusively for the Nikon Z mount

Its optical design is optimized APS-C size (Nikon DX-format) mirrorless cameras for which the Nikon Z mount has been adopted. This lens has an APS-C size (Nikon DX-format) image circle, and can be used by setting the camera's imaging range to DX-format when using it on a full-frame camera (Nikon FX-format body) by manually.

Information communication with the body by electronic contacts

This lens is equipped with electronic contacts and realizes communications between the lens and the body. In addition to Exif information and in-body image stabilization (3 axes), by combining with a body compatible with communications and the latest firmware*1, three types of focusing support functions ( [1] focusing by color changing of the focus point frame [2] peaking function focusing and [3] focusing with the enlargement button) are supported.

Manual focus for reliable focus operation

By adopting an full-metal helicoid unit processed and adjusted with high precision and high-quality grease that produces an appropriate torque, focusing with a smooth operation feeling is realized. It enables fine focus adjustment.

Beautiful bokeh by 12 aperture blades

A 12-blade aperture is used to make the holes formed by the blades closer to a circle. The out-of-focus part has a natural depiction, and the point light source is not a polygon but a round and soft bokeh.

The shortest shooting distance is 0.3m.

In addition to being able to capture a wide variety of subjects as a standard lens with angle of view of 44 °, the close-up shooting effect provides a large amount of bokeh, expanding the possibilities of shooting style that takes advantage of the bokeh at full aperture.

Compact and lightweight
Despite its large diameter, it has a filter diameter of φ46 mm, a total length of 41.0 mm, and a weight of 230 g, making it compact and easy to handle. The barrel design combines a nostalgic appearance reminiscent of “the good old days” with functionality that improves the feeling of manual operation.
