This Vinten Elevation Unit for HDT-1 Tripod is designed for use with the Vinten HDT-1 heavy-duty tripod. The elevation unit attaches directly to the tripod.
A geared handle and an on-shot clamp provide a height range of 18". The unit supports a maximum payload of 250 lb.
The pan/tilt head is attached to the elevation unit with a four-bolt fixing as standard, with Mitchell, Quickfix, and 100/150 mm bowl adapters optional.
Maximum height with the HDT-1 tripod and floor spreader is 71.3".
Minimum height with the HDT-1 tripod and floor spreader is 28.1". This is not for use with a two-stage tripod due to reduced stability when the elevation unit is fully extended.
